Lake Wisconsin is part of the Wisconsin River
system created by the dam in Prairie Du Sac. The dam began construction
in 1915 and was completed sometime in 1924. The extensive structure
and wooded shorelines offer some of the best bass, walleye and panfishing
in the state.
